Weex provides a non-interactive FTP client for updating Web pages.
Weex provides a non-interactive FTP client for updating Web pages.

Weex is designed to automate the task of remotely maintaining a Web page or other FTP archive.

It will synchronize a set of local files to a remote server by performing uploads and remote deletes as required.

Thanks to a nicely-colored output, you'll be able to track mistakes before you lose files.

Here are some key features of "Weex":

easy configuration to easily maintain your remote Web sites,
nice colour output useful for tracking mistakes before you loose files (run weex with the '-t' option and you'll clearly see what will be done, so you'll never erroneously delete remote files),
caching to speed up the synchronization process,
FTP protocol supported (ssh/rsync supported soon).

What's New in This Release:

various bug fixes
uploading under the temporary name `weex.tmp' with the RenameOK option
support for FTP proxy server that requires challenge/response
The i386 RPM was compiled on RedHat 9
You should be able to "rpmbuild --rebuild" the SRPM on older RedHat releases or other RPM based distros.
