BitNami Piwik Module 2.8.0-0
What is Piwik?
Piwik is a free and open source real-time web analytics software program that provides you with detailed reports on your website visitors, such as the search engines and keywords they use, your popular pages, the language they speak, and much more.
Installing Bitnami Piwik Module
As mentioned, Bitnami Piwik Module is distributed by BitNami as native, universal installers, which have been built using the BitRock InstallBuilder tool and are compatible with all Linux kernel-based operating systems. To install Piwik on top of your BitNami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) server, download the package that corresponds to your PC’s arch, run it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Run Piwik on the cloud or virtualize it
Thanks to BitNami, users will also be able to run Piwik on the cloud with their hosting platform or by using BitNami’s pre-built cloud images for Windows Azure and Amazon EC2 cloud hosting providers. Additionally, Piwik can run virtualized, as BitNami also offers a virtual machine image for the VMware ESX, ESXi and Oracle VirtualBox virtualization software, based on the latest LTS (Long Term Support) release of Ubuntu.
The Docker container and Bitnami Piwik Stack
Besides installing Piwik on top of your BitNami LAMP installation, run it on the cloud or virtualize it, BitNami also offers an all-in-one solution that greatly simplifies the installation and hosting of Piwik and all of its runtime dependencies on a desktop computer or laptop. A Docker container will also be provided for Piwik, soon. You can download the Bitnami Piwik Stack product from Softpedia.
