Jplanets project is a simple game for one or two players. Every player has a starship, between the ships there are three planets. The goal is to shoot and destroy the other starship launching a rocket, that should obey to the gravity laws.
You have to give the angle in degree and the speed of the rocket. The game is developed in Java under Mac Os X, and runs fine on every platform: Mac, Windows, GNU/Linux,.... go here to download the Mac Os X Application (packed in DMG format).

· Java Runtime Environment (JRE) - tested with JRE6 on Ubuntu 7.10
