Heartfelt Nightsong is a graphical text-based, cross-platform adventure game.
Tiny duck on Wheels the working title for a graphical text-based adventure game originating from the 7th edition of Pyweek. It is written in Python and depends upon Pygame.
From the creators of Ghetto Viking: The Prophecy.
RUNNING THE GAME:
On Windows or Mac OS X, locate the "run_game.pyw" file and double-click it.
Othewise open a terminal / console and "cd" to the game directory and run:
python run_game.py
The game supports different command line parameters. Type
python run_game.py --help
for more information.
HOW TO PLAY THE GAME:
Heartfelt Nightsong is a text based adventure game. This means that all commands are entered at the prompt (which you can see on the bottom of the screen). The actual commands are meant to be figured out as a part of the game. Some starters, though are as follows:
go [directions] -- go in the direction.
The default directions are north, south, west, east,
northwest, southwest, northeast and southeast.
You might find some hidden directions if you pay close
attention...
look [object] -- examine an object
The controls for the interface are explained if you type 'help' at the game's command prompt. It might be nice to know that Alt-Enter or Ctrl-F toggles fullscreen.
