LinCity-NG is a city simulation game. LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. LinCity-NG is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game.
Within the scope of the GoTM project at happypenguin.org we have created a new iso-3d graphics engine together with a completely redone and modern gui.
Requirements:
· normal gnu compiler and additional tools (g version 3.2 or later is required at the moment)
· perforce jam 2.5 or later (used as build tool)
· SDL 1.2.5 or later
· SDL_mixer 1.2.4 or later (with ogg-support enabled)
· SDL_image 1.2.3 or later (with png support)
· SDL_ttf 2.0 or later
· PhysicsFS 1.0.0 or later
· zlib 1.0 or later
· libxml 2.6.11 or later
What's New in 1.91 Beta Development Release:
Lincity-NG has a new major release, with new features water management.
· simple ecology
· new hard scenarios (extreme_arid and extreme_wetland)
· A new building (water well) has been added, and all biological production depends on underlying water.
· Besides this, lots of more or less important improvements,and some rare bug fixes
