The Castle is an open source first-person shooter (FPS) game in a dark fantasy setting.
Your main weapon is a sword, so the fight is mostly short-range. 3 main levels included, packed with creatures, items and sounds.
Extract downloaded archive to /usr/local/share/castle/ or $HOME/.castle.data/. You can move or symlink the executable castle to any place you like (e.g. $HOME/bin or /usr/local/bin). Run the game by running castle.

What's new in The Castle 1.0.1:
- This version tries harder to run in full screen mode now: in case it can't switch the screen resolution, It will use the current resolution.
