Ortho Robot For Linux

Ortho Robot is an open source, completely free and cross-platform puzzle perspective game, where the player can flatten the view angle to easily move between gaps. The player’s main objective is to reach the ending green block. To reach it, you can either stand on it in relative space or stand directly on it. Ortho Robot is written in the LOVE 2D game engine.

The game features 16 levels, each one being more frustrating than the other, as well as mind bending space warping, which is definitely not for the light hearted people. For those of you don’t mind a little extra challenge, try to collect all the coins in the game. You can also try to perfect your time, as well as steps and number of warps.

The game requires the LOVE 2D game engine to work. You can install LOVE from the main software repositories of your GNU/Linux distribution or download it from Softpedia (we provide detailed installation instructions).

Download the binary package of the Ortho Robot game and save it on your Home directory. Extract the archive with an archive manager utility. After properly installing LOVE, you should be able to double click the Ortho Robot.love file, which has been extracted from the binary package, in order to run the game.

From the main menu of the game, players will be able to access the levels, view the credits, access the documentation, as well as to exit the game.
