kvidenc
kvidenc is a KDE service menu utility to easily convert videos.

Supported output formats are 3GPP and MPEG, as well as bot PAL and NTSC formats for DV, DVD, VCD and SVCD.

More may be added in the future.

Requirements:

KDE
ffmpeg
mplayer
mencoder

LOCAL INSTALLATION
1) Copy kvidenc to somewhere in your path (usually ~/bin/)
2) Copy kvidenc.desktop to your service menu folder (usually ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/)

SYSTEM-WIDE INSTALLATION
1) Copy kvidenc to somewhere in your path (usually /usr/bin/)
2) Copy kvidenc.desktop to your service menu folder (usually /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/)
