burn-image shell script is an open source and simple shell script for the GNOME desktop environment that allows users to easily burn a CD or DVD image without using other graphical or command-line apps.

burn-image shell script uses notify-send and zenity. It is especially designed for the GNOME desktop environment, but it should work under other open source window managers as well.
