    Video2Avi bash script description

    Video converter for GNOME

Video2Avi bash script is a Nautilus script for those wanting an easy-to-use solution to automate converting most video formats to avi.

    Developer comments

It is not as complicated as some I have seen, but it will do what you want, when you want.

It allows for easy conversion between DVDs, ISOs, AVIs, MPEGs, or whatever type of video input desired into AVI (or MPEG) format. Just follow the menu I made for it, and it should be very simple to use. There are lots of presets for the outputted Avi. Also included is a simple custom quality option for those who want such.

    To Use:

Just double click it. It should automatically open into a terminal window. If it does not, you can just open a terminal window and input:

    ./path/to/Video2Avi.sh
