SmoothGNOME is a GNOME theme that is attempts to make a nicer default looking desktop. It only uses colors from the GNOME HIG palette, and so it interfaces well with the default set of icons. It makes use of the Smooth GTK+ engine.
It uses the CleanView-Base icon theme. It comes with a Metacity theme, a GTK+ theme, and a GNOME metatheme, so you can select a SmoothGNOME theme from the nifty little list that has pictures.
Requirements:
· gtk-smooth-engine >= 0.6.0
· GTK+ 2.6.x recommended
What's New in This Release:
· Fixed broken directory structure in the icon theme.
· Also removed a few icons that exist in 2.10.x.
· GNOME 2.10.x is now recommended.
