Murrina BlueGrayBlack is a GTK theme with fancy colors, based on the Murrine engine.

To get that look of the gnome panel you can use the supplied png-files I also found somewhere here. I nevertheless added a version with more transparency to make it look nicer with some wallpapers.

Unfortunately there is a bug that made me use a workaround (=dark buttons) in the logoff-window. When defining dark panelbuttons but light background everywhere else you can choose between:

a) Not readable text in the logoff-window because the buttons there apparently think they are panelbuttons.

b) Dark buttons but readable text. I could also make the whole dialoge black, which would fit to the gnome-panel but not the general window colour. If you prefer that, let me know.

About GNOME:

GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.

GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris.

The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”.
