Minsta(Mint vista)Green Pack 1.6
Vista theme for your GNOME desktop
Windows Vista, by Microsoft, is a very good-looking operating system. But it doesn’t offer you the stabiliy, rapidity, customizability and the multimedia support that only a Linux distro can offer you.
Thank God, there are some special and really good working Linux distros: Yes, I’m talking about Mint and Ubuntu. But they have few problems:For many people linux is too complicated or has a terrific design(they don’t hate because it doesn’t work properly or is too complicated, they just don’t like it because they are not used to it or think it is horrible).
So what’s the solution to the problem? A hybrid Desktop theme, which has a Vista-like look, and all great features by linux(As already said, things like stability and the full multimedia support).
Believe me, maybe it seems funny, but this are the facts.
So I decide to create this theme, by hoping that people will enjoy and like using it.If thing will be like that, I’m planning to make a .deb package and make easier to install.
The package contains:
-One emerald theme, which is the deafault one chossen for this version of Minsta(But I suggest to change it, which would be more suitable to you).
-An Instruction doc which explains how to manage the package itself.
-Minsta Classic Green Aero Clone v1.4(Which give to the theme thing like the custom panel, menubar, scrollbars, buttons,etc...)
-Minsta Gnomenu theme v 1.2(The best available, with HD start button and the Minsta Menu theme)
-Windows Vista 7 Icon theme for Linux(One of the most beautiful available)
-Vista Segoeui Fonts(The font of vista)
Next improvements will be the following:
-Minsta Gnomenu Icons
-Minsta Custom Cursors
-Minsta emerald (And probably Metacity)theme collection.
-Minsta Transformation Pack in .deb format availability

GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.
GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris.
The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”.
