KWaveControl is a tool for wireless devices and it is based on the wireless extensions. KWaveControl runs under Linux with KDE and docks into the panel. The tray icon in the panel shows you the current link quality and bitrate.
The main window indicates information about the device, where you can also set most of the properties (below marked with *; if those features are supported by your device).
