This package stores all the GSettings schemas for your GNOME desktop environment
GSettings Desktop Schemas (gsettings-desktop-schemas) is an open source software that contains a collection of GSettings schemas for the settings shared by various components of the GNOME desktop environment.

The schemas shipped with the GSettings Desktop Schemas package are based on the GConf schemas from the libgnome library and gnome-vfs.

Installation of GSettings Desktop Schemas:

To compile the GSettings Desktop Schemas software, execute the following commands in a Linux Terminal:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make


Now, as the root user, type the following command to install the program in your system:

make install
