    Workspace Indicator description

    Show current desktop on GNOME 3

    Workspace Indicator is a GNOME Shell extension that allows users to easily switch to another workspace/desktop and it displays the current one on the panel.

    To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it was not tested with Cinnamon.
