    Simply hides the dash in GNOME 3

    Hide Dash is a GNOME Shell extension that will hide the dash when in activities overview mode, in GNOME 3.

    To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it was not tested with Cinnamon.
