Fido 1.1.1

This project provides an Open Source and multi-threaded file monitoring tool for Linux
Fido is an open source and totally free command-line utility that allows users to easily watch files in real time, based on user-defined patterns.

With Fido you can monitor any file for changes, in both modification time and content. When a change is detected, Fido will execute a user-defined application.

The application has been designed to recognize log file rotation and immediately start monitoring from the beginning of the new file.

Fido has been originally designed for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, but it also works with other Linux operating systems.
