PortageMonitor is a Superkaramba theme that displays the current system and world ebuild updates available on a Gentoo system.
PortageMonitor allows the user to customize the options used in getting system and world updates from --deep, --newuse, and --update. As well, the user can view the available ebuild updates in the order they would be merged or sorted by the package name.
For each ebuild shown, detailed info is available including the current version installed and useflags by clicking the bullet icon next to it.
Requirements:
· SuperKaramba
· PyQt
· The user running this theme must be in the portage group
· update interval is only supported in superkaramba 0.39 or greater. if you want to change the update interval manually, change interval variable in PortageMonitor.theme to one of the following (or anything else, 1000 = 1 second): 12 hours = 43200000, 1 day = 86400000, 3 days = 259200000, 1 week = 604800000, 2 weeks = 1209600000, 1 month = 2419200000
What's New in This Release:
· fixed bug where PortageMonitor can't locate python modules to load when run directly from the .theme file (only affects Superkaramba 0.36)
