What's New in This Release:
  • This version provides full Kerberos and SSPI support for passwordless login to Microsoft SQL Server from Unix and Windows clients.
  • It fully support building DB-Library on Win32/64 via NMAKE.EXE.
  • It has built-in support for UTF-8 and wide characters in ODBC and better thread-safety in ODBC, and error messages in all libraries now distinguish between connect and login errors.
  • For Microsoft servers, FreeTDS implements TDS 7.2, the version used by SQL Server 2005.
