Gmail-Notifier is a cooler looking gmail notification client for Ubuntu 9.04+. It uses the latest Ubuntu 9.04 notification system for displaying mail notifications. The design is inspired by the the Mac OS X based gmail notification tool.

The program uses the gmail atom feeds for mail notifications and provides direct links to e-mails and inbox.

Installation

Download the .deb package to your desktop and double click on it. The GDebi package installer will take over. Click the "Install Package" button to install the package.

The program will be available under Applications -> Internet -> GMail Notifier menu option.
