    vnLanChat description

vnLanChat is a cross platform LAN chat application.

vnLanChat is a cross platform LAN chat application. You may run it under Microsoft Windows as well as under Linux! It is useful for chatting over a local area network (LAN), for example over a home LAN. You can post messages addressed to all participants and private messages too.

vnLanChat makes use of a cross platform framework library wxWidgets. Thanks to wxWidgets vnLanChat has user friendly interface on both Windows and Linux. Windows port also has tray icon.

Here are some key features of "vnLanChat":

    · no dedicated server needed.
    · partial compatibility with VyPress Chat protocol.

    What's New in This Release:

    · VyPress Chat protocol is now supported (almost!) and also many many bug fixes and debugging.
