    mOOo Impress Controller description

mOOo Impress Controller's objective is to create a set of tools that make the user able to create/update ODF documents.

mOOo Impress Controller's objective is to create a set of tools that make the user able to create/update ODF documents in mobile devices such as cell phones and PDA's and also interact with the OpenOffice.org suite through these devices. All will be done using Java SE and mainly Java ME platform.

    Requirements:

    · OpenOffice.org 2.2, BrOffice.org 2.2, or compatible.
    · Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or later
    · Bluetooth USB Adapter or any other Bluetooth hardware.
    · Bluetooth Protocol Stack in your OS (Operating System).

    Installation

    · Download mOOo IC Desktop in your OS.
    · Start OpenOffice.org.
    · Select menu option Tools > Extension Manager...
    · Click Add...
    · Browse and select the downloaded mOOo IC Desktop OXT file and click Ok.
    · Click Close.
    · Finished!

    How to Use

    · After Installation, start OpenOffice.org and mOOo IC Mobile (accept Bluetooth permission in the mobile).
    · In OpenOffice.org go to mOOo Menu > Select Device...
    · Press Search and wait for results.
    · Select the found device that will control the Presentation.
    · Select mOOo Menu > On.
    · Now you should be able to control through your Mobile

    · If you want to turn Off, just go (if you are connected before):
    · Select mOOo Menu > On (again! we still have to learn how to put a check icon if it is connected or not).

    What's New in This Release:

    · mOOo Impress Controller was rebuilt to work on OpenOffice.org 2.3.
    · In the last version, there was a known problem caused by an extension incompatibility in some OOo suites.
    · The features remained the same for this release, but there are two new packages for Mac OS X (which is untested) and Linux 64-bit.
    · There are some known bugs with Avetana on Linux 64-bit that crash the JVM when there is more than one active Bluetooth device in the area.
