MisterHouse is an open source software that provides a multi-platform utility for home automation tasks. It responds to voice commands, time of day, web browsers, serial port, external files, etc.
MisterHouse can speak via Text to Speech engines. It is written in Perl and supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.
