FactBrowser is an Adobe AIR application that represents statistical data of world entities in a variety of ways. It is based on CIA’s World FactBook publication. Basically the categories are split in groups (general, people, economy, energy, communication, transport).
The data is represented as a comparision grid, a world map, a pie diagram and a detailed country view. The Factbrowser includes an automatic update framework, which will inform you about updates. Furthermore it is possible to export the underlying dataset to a spreadsheet compatible file (*.csv).
