HOW IT WORKS:
ADD TO PLAYLIST by clicking song title, THEN CLICK ON PLAYLIST(2)AND CLICK ON SONG YOU WANT TO PLAY. Component at top of the page shows the status of the current track. THEN SWITCH TO NOW PLAYING(3), TO SEE DETAILS, IMAGES AND TO CONTROL PLAYBACK. The audio content is totally appropriate for young children. It consists of kids nursery rhymes, songs and stories downloaded from LibriVox, a public domain audio sub-collection of the Internet Archive. LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain and release them for free on the The Internet Archive(www.archive.org), a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, they provide free, unrestricted access to the general public. (See sample view for complete, detailed information about the content and its source).
NOTE:The application does not have the ability to dynamically access additional content.
ABOUT THE APPLICATION: based on an Adobe example/tutorial. XML data file created in Dreamweaver CS3; UI created in Flash CS3. Packaged in Flash CS3. I have included all the necessary files needed to build the application in the installation folder(including a readme doc with application details).
