A new versatile robotics simulation architecture
The OpenRobots Simulator software is a project driven by several European robotics labs. It aims at the development of a new versatile robotics simulation architecture for the research community.

One of the main design feature is not to reinvent the wheel: it rely heavily on Blender for the rendering and physical simulation, and can be connected to external open-source robotics frameworks like ROS, Yarp or Player for the communication with the robots.
