The Movilforum website has had the great pleasure of interviewing Mark Shuttleworth, founder of Canonical and of the world's most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux.

In the 2-minute-long video interview, Mark Shuttleworth reveals the fact that Ubuntu is extremely useful for developers on the cloud and server. He thinks that all these technologies will transform Telco in a good way.

Canonical's founder also believes that the key to the next-generation of telecommunication is automation, which will help the Telco company deliver highly reliable and available dial tone and other useful services.

"Automation in telecommunication can dramatically accelerate the delivery of services, as well as much large scale services at lower cost," says Mark Shuttleworth in the video interview.

Telco is the leading provider of innovative software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) multi-service Carrier Ethernet 2.0 and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) edge solutions.

Mark Shuttleworth was present at a recent SDN Conference event that took place in Madrid, Spain, last month. You can watch the entire video interview with Mark Shuttleworth below, courtesy of Movilforum.
