Guild Software developers were proud to announce this past weekend the release of a new maintenance update for their popular, cross-platform, and VR-ready Vendetta Online 1.8 massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

Vendetta Online 1.8.396 is here exactly two weeks after the 1.8.395 release to finally implement monitoring functionality to all empty sectors in the Capitol systems, but only those that contain Training Sectors. Also, it adds various tweaks to the management of powercell energy in capital ships during jump-out, and addresses an issue with the menu, which wasn't visible during automatic generation of account conversion on mobile devices.

"The fact that Capitol systems are now entirely Monitored (at least) was actually intended to be implemented a long time ago, but someone failed to finalize the changes. Major-Nation Capitols can be expected to be fairly heavily patrolled, so this kind of response shouldn't be too surprising. As always, we're open to feedback on any changes like this," reads the release announcement.

Of course, the Vendetta Online 1.8.396 update also contains various smaller changes and tweaks that should improve the overall performance and reliability of the game. It also looks like the Guild Software devs are working hard on many upcoming improvements, including the Goliath, and better support for the platforms where Vendetta Online was neglected lately. Existing users are encouraged to update to Vendetta Online 1.8.396 at their earliest convenience.
