14 DAY TRIAL // uNav is a map viewer and turn-by-turn GPS navigator built specifically for Ubuntu Touch and a new update has been released for it.
The uNav GPS navigation app has been around for some time now and its developer, Marcos Costales issued a lot of updates for it, but it’s still not ready. A lot of new features have been added in the past few months, but it looks like there is still room for improvement.
A call for translations has been launched by Marcos and it seems to be going really well. In the meantime, we can install the latest version of the application.
According to the changelog, the voice settings have been refined, the popup Clear history is now easier to use, 80 Km head distance has been added to search into Nearby POIs, the shown results have been limited to 50 entries, and some of the translations have been updated.
uNav GPS navigation app can be found in the official store. It’s one of the most popular, so you won’t have any issues identifying it. There is a large community of users and the developer provides updates for the application almost on a weekly basis.
