The Masterplan, a squad-based heist game developed and published by Shark Punch on Steam, has been released for the Linux platform as well.

The Masterplan is a very complex game that will really challenge players. It's been very well received by the gaming community and is going to get a lot of fans on the Linux platform as well, since there aren't too many titles like this one available.

"During the game you'll need to heist your way through 20 unique hand-crafted heists in a persisting career mode, manage your crew from heist to heist by hiring the right goons and by making sure they are properly equipped. A test of a true mastermind will be to execute the plan to perfection, keep the goons alive, and walk away with the maximum loot from each heist," is noted in the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for The Masterplan are not all that high and almost anyone will be able to play it. All you need is at least Ubuntu 12.04 or later when it comes to OS, an Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor, a video card with 256 MB, and 300MB of HDD space.

The game is now available with a 40% price cut that is scheduled to end in a little over a day.
