Nicholas Skaggs had the great pleasure of announcing a couple of days ago yet another innovation from Canonical, Snappy Open House, a new way for Ubuntu developers, contributors, and members of the community to get familiar with the Snappy technology created by Canonical for its Ubuntu Linux operating system.

Snappy Open House will be an online event, which will take place on the well-known Ubuntu on Air website. There, anyone can participate to meet the Ubuntu Snappy developers and ask them all sorts of questions about the groundbreaking technology that is about to land in the upcoming release of Ubuntu Linux and Ubuntu Touch operating systems.

"Snappy represents some new and exciting possibilities for Ubuntu. Open houses are your chance to get familiar with the technology while helping test and break things, of course," says Nicholas Skaggs. "We plan to do an open house before each release as a chance for everyone to interact and provide feedback and help with testing."

The first ever Snappy Open House event will take place on July 7, 2015, at 2 pm GMT. The event will last for approximately two hours, and anyone is welcome to join. There will be showcase of new features, as well as awesome demos. More details can be found on the ubuntuonair.com website.
