The 39 Steps, a revolutionary type of game that tries to combine literature, gaming and film into one experience, will launch on Steam for Linux.

The developers from The Story Mechanics have gone to great lengths to replicate the environments of 1914's London, according to the original John Buchan texts.

The game has been created in Unity, which means that the Linux support is almost a given, even if no official announcements have been made.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the CDR database and by no means is it completely certain. The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are first visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.
