phpMyFAQ, a scalable open source FAQ software using PHP and available for many databases, is now at version 2.8.7.

phpMyFAQ 2.8.7 supports various database systems (PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, and MySQL), comes with a comprehensive content management system, has user and group-based permissions, users get access to the LDAP and HTTP authentication with Single Sign-On support, and more.

This is more of a maintenance release and, according to the changelog, a number of IE8/9 only XSS and CSRF vulnerabilities have been fixed, the bundled Symfony ClassLoader has been updated to version 2.4.1, and some minor bugs have been fixed.

Also, a PHP 5.4 related regression has been corrected and a few translations have been updated. A complete backlog of changes, fixes, and new features can be found on the official website. Download phpMyFAQ 2.8.7 right now from Softpedia.
