pfSense 2.3.2 is here today to fix a total of 60 bugs that have been reported by users since the previous maintenance releases, as well as to introduce a handful of new features, among which we can mention the implementation of per-user configuration options in the Dashboard, as well as * support for hostname with Namecheap.
The strongSwan open source IPsec-based VPN (Virtual Private Network) solution for GNU/Linux and other UNIX-based operating systems has been updated to version 5.5.0, a major release that introduces many goodies. Moreover, sorting is now supported in the DHCP static mappings table, and IPv6 support has been added to the diag_dns.php file in the WebUI.
Among other changes implemented in the pfSense 2.3.2 release, we can mention the addition of support for the IPv6 protocol to filter logs reverse lookup in the web-based interface, along with alias import support for both ports and networks. Also, it looks like users can now configure the UPnP presentation URL and model number.
Last but not least, it's now possible to enable or disable the persistent CARP (Common Address Redundancy Protocol) maintenance mode thanks to the new PHP shell sessions. pfSense 2.3.2 also exposes the serial console configuration for NanoBSD VGA.
