Update: The original version of the article stated that ownCloud 8.0.3 improved compatibility with MSSQL (Microsoft SQL Server). The exact text on the upstream changelog for ownCloud 8.0.3 was "Improved MSSQL compatibility."

We spoke with Markus Rex, CEO and Co-Founder of ownCloud, and it turns out that the respective line of text from the changelog was a mistake, and that ownCloud 8.0.3 only fixes a potential SQL insertion.
