14 DAY TRIAL // Opera Software, through Aneta Reluga, has announced the availability of a new Beta build for the upcoming Opera 37 web browser, which promises to introduce some unique new features.
We've already told you that Opera Software is planning on releasing version 37 of their popular web browser with a built-in ad-blocker, which none of the similar software provides. And now, they've announced yet another cool and unique new feature for the upcoming release, which the company calls a "video pop out."
What's video pop-out? Well, from now on, when watching videos on any supported service, such as YouTube, you'll see a small button on top of the stream. Pressing that button will make the video go outside the web browser window in a resizable pop-up that you can place anywhere on the screen. However, navigating away from the web page where the video plays will also close the pop-up.
"Today’s beta update is an extra special one, because we have, a surprise, brand-new feature for you to try," said Aneta Reluga, Desktop QA Team at Opera Software. "This is an exceptional situation since the feature skipped developer, landing straight into beta. In this case, we just couldn’t wait to show it to you, so we’ve shortened our usual development cycle."
As expected, you can test-drive the new video pop-out feature right now if you switch to the Beta channel of the Opera web browser. To do that, download and install the Opera 37.0 Build 2178.19 Beta for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems right now via our website.
