openSUSE 12.2 Delayed for September 2012

The Release Candidates will be live in mid-July and mid-August

Yesterday, June 14th, we were prepared to announced the release of openSUSE 12.2 Release Candidate 1, including a detailed screenshot tour. Unfortunately, Stephan Kulow informed openSUSE users that there will be no release until they catch up with the slip of the Milestones and Beta versions.

Therefore, the release schedule for openSUSE 12.2 changes to the following:

· Mid July - openSUSE 12.2 RC1 release;

· Mid August - openSUSE 12.2 RC2 release;

· Mid September - openSUSE 12.2 final release.

For more details about the delay, you can check out the in-depth article posted by Stephan Kulow on the openSUSE news website. Until another development release of the upcoming openSUSE 12.2 operating system will see the light of day, you can test the current Beta release (see download links below) and post bugs.
