14 DAY TRIAL // Mozilla released just a few hours ago the first hotfix for the latest stable and most advanced branch of the popular Firefox web browser for all supported operating systems.
Mozilla Firefox 44.0.1 is now available for download (see download links in the last paragraph), and according to the release notes that popped up minutes ago, it adds quite a few improvements, a couple of new features, and fixes for several issues reported by users since the release of Firefox 44.0.
Among the new features and improvements, we can mention the addition of the Gecko SDK (Software Development Kit), support for spaces in cookie names, support for Mozilla's NSS (Network Security Services) 3.21, and the disablement of the OGG Vorbis and Opus audio codecs for H.264 video playback.
Mozilla Firefox 44.0.1 also patches a problem that could have removed your stored passwords, repairs a graphics startup crash on the GNU/Linux platform, fixes a crash that occurred in the cache networking functionality, and addresses some issues with WebSockets that occurred when used in a Service Worker context.
