Just a few moments ago, Emil Velikov of Collabora announced the immediate availability for download of the second maintenance release of the Mesa 3D Graphics Library 11.0.

According to the brief release notes, which we've attached at the end of the article for reference, Mesa 3D Graphics Library 11.0.2 is an emergency release that fixes the last remaining dEQP regressions introduced in the previous versions of the software.

Mesa 11.0.2 fixes the order of the internal format checks, as well as of format+type for glTexImageXD ops, moves the _mesa_base_tex_format() function from teximage to glformats files, and uses the effective internal format for validation.

Moreover, the second maintenance release of the Mesa 3D Graphics Library 11.0 exposes gl_MaxTess{Control,Evaluation}AtomicCounters for the GLSL (GLslang) OpenGL Shading Language, and respects subreg_offset and stride for ATTR registers on Intel i965.

"Mesa 11.0.2 is now available. This is an emergency release which covers the final dEQP regressions introduced in the 11.0 development cycle," says Emil Velikov, software release engineer at Collabora.

Mesa 3D Graphics Library 11.0.2 is a recommended update for all users of the 11.0 branch of Mesa. You can download the Mesa 3D Graphics Library 11.0.2 sources right now from Softpedia or directly from the official website of the project. We also suggest that you check your GNU/Linux distro software repositories for Mesa 11.0.2 in the coming days.
