Scuba diving & fighter jet flights are Mr. Torvalds' hobbies

You probably won't believe this, but Linus Torvalds, the father of the Linux kernel, has just posted three astonishing photos bragging about doing fighter jet flights to relax in between Linux kernel pulls.

In the new photo set (see them at the end of the article or by clicking the image on the right) posted on Google+, you will see Mr. Torvalds sitting in the back of an awesome T-33 airplane.

We all knew that Linus Torvalds is a fan of scuba diving, but doing fighter jet flights is quite extreme, and we have to admit that we had no knowledge about it. "Not many people know this about me, but in between kernel pulls I relax by doing fighter jet rides," says Linus Torvalds on his latest Google+ post.

"That's me in the back. I should have a higher-res one later when you can see my face. Or at least read my name on the fuselage, because with the mask it's not like you can really see much of my face even in high-res," notes Linus Torvalds on one of the photos, which you can view below.
