Reflex, a competitive arena FPS developed and published by Turbo Pixel Studios, is now available on Steam for Linux with a 50% cut and it's only going to be available for the next few hours.

It looks like FPS multiplayer games are making a comeback and Reflex is just one of the many that are being developed right now. It's still in the Early Access program, which means that it's not ready. Gamers can buy it and play it, but it will be a while until it reaches stable status.

"Reflex is a competitive Arena FPS that combines modern tech with the speed, precision and freedom of a 90s shooter. If you sunk countless hours into the Quake or Unreal series, Reflex will feel like a welcome return of the old school shooter feel. If you didn't experience classic arena FPS gameplay, you should immediately reclaim all those unwasted years by being part of Reflex!" reads the entry on Steam.

The fact that it's defined by the developers as an arena FPS is not a coincidence. They want something that has a similar experience with the famous Quake Arena, and they are going for it. As it stands right now, the game is still in an Alpha state, but the devs provided important updates on a constant basis.

The promotion for Reflex will expire in less than 12 hours, so you need to hurry up if you're interested.
