Several apps received improvements and bugfixes

KDE announced just a few minutes ago the immediate availability of the third maintenance release for the KDE Applications 15.04 software suite that is being distributed as part of the next-generation KDE Plasma 5 desktop environment.

According to the very short release notes, KDE Applications 15.04.3 is here to fix over 20 issues that have been reported by users since the previous version of the project, KDE Applications 15.04.2, as well as to update various translations.

"July 1, 2015. Today KDE released the second stability update for KDE Applications 15.04. This release contains only bugfixes and translation updates, providing a safe and pleasant update for everyone," reads today's announcement.

Among the applications that received improvements in the KDE Applications 15.04.3 release, we can mention the Kdenlive video editor, Kopete instant messenger, Marble world atlas, Umbrello IDE, Okteta editor, as well as KDE PIM and ktp-contact-list.

The update also comes with LTS (Long Term Support) versions of the KDE Plasma Workspaces 4.11.21, Kontact Suite 4.14.10, and KDE Development Platform 4.14.10 applications that are distributed as part of the KDE4 desktop environment.

All KDE users can update to the KDE Applications 15.04.3 software suite today via the default software repositories of their GNU/Linux distributions. A detailed changelog is provided in the official release announcement.
