It looks like Linux remains a supported platform

Homefront: The Revolution is a FPS game from Crytek built on CryENGINE and published by Deep Silver. A Linux version was announced a long time ago, and it looks like it's still happening.

Normally, you wouldn't really care about the fate of a game on Linux after developers announced the open source platform, but this is a title that changed hands after Crytek went through some financial problems.

This is actually the second game in the series, and it was initially published by THQ. That company is gone now, and Crytek had some problems. They sold the game, and it's now in the hands of another publisher and developer.

Some users have been wondering if a Linux version was still planned after such turmoil and it looks like it's still on track, but it's not clear whether it's going to be a launch title or something ported afterwards.

"Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where the player must lead a Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. A living, breathing, open world responds to every action – the Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight," reads the synopsis for the game.

There is no certain date attached to this project and all we know is that it is planned for 2015. It's a triple-A title, so if it's coming this year, it will be closer to Christmas.
