HITMAN (2016) video game is arriving on Linux and SteamOS next week, on February 16, and Feral Interactive have just announced the minimum and recommended system requirements.

We'll keep this post short and let you know that, to play HITMAN on your Linux box, you'll need to have a modern computer powered by an Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8350 processor with at least 8GB RAM. The game will work with both Nvidia and AMD Radeon graphics cards.

"Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate assassin? To run HITMAN on Linux you’ll need an Intel Core i5-2500K/AMD FX-8350 running Ubuntu 16.04 or Steam OS 2.0, 8GB RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 680/AMD R9 270X graphics card or better," said Feral Interactive.

However, those are the minium requirements to play the game, as you'll need to have a PC with an Intel Core i7 3770 processor, at least 16GB RAM, as well as an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD R9 290 graphics card, or better, for the best gaming experience, or as Feral Interactive says, for an even more impressive execution.

Of course, you must have the latest Nvidia 375.28 proprietary graphics driver installed for Nvidia GPUs, and at least Mesa 13.0.3 3D Graphics Library stack if you're playing the game with an AMD Radeon GPU. Intel graphics cards are not supported on the release. The recommended operating systems are Ubuntu 16.10 or Steam OS 2.0.
