On July 30, the developers of the Goggles Music Manager software, an open-source music collection manager and player that supports some of the most popular audio file formats, announced the release of version 1.0.7.

According to the release notes, Goggles Music Manager 1.0.7 is the seventh maintenance release of the stable 1.0 branch of the software and brings with it awesome new features like support for ratings and tags to filters.

Furthermore, the default color scheme of the application has been changed to Clearlooks, the repeat/shuffle menu items are now automatically disabled when the play queue is active, and the app will now close the network connection for HTTP 1.0 streams if keep-alive has not been specified.

The duration of podcasts is now read by the app from the downloads if the information is not provided in the feed, and current playing album or artist is no longer automatically selected when using the search function.

Last but not least, Goggles Music Manager will no longer repeat a track when the user stops the player after a track. Download Goggles Music Manager 1.0.7 for GNU/Linux systems right now from Softpedia.
