After announcing the release of the Fedora 23 Server and Cloud editions for ARM 64-bit (AArch64) and POWER (PPC64/PPC64el) hardware architectures, Fedora Project is proud to present Fedora 23 Server for IBM System z 64-Bit.

Dubbed Fedora 23 Server for z Systems, the new edition was designed from the ground up to be installed on special machines that are powered by the s390x hardware architecture. As expected, all of Fedora 23 Server's features are present in this release.

"Fedora 23 Server for z Systems (i.e. the s390x architecture) is now released and available for download. This release provides the new features and updates in Fedora 23 Server, but built specifically for the s390x architecture," reads the announcement.

On this occasion, we would like to inform our readers that Fedora 23 Server comes with features like RoleKit, a programmatic interface for quick deployment that simplifies service management, and Cockpit, a remote web-based user interface.

Additionally, users who install the Fedora 23 Server GNU/Linux operating system will be able to manage Kubernetes clusters from the Cockpit Admin Console, as well as to launch a FreeIPA domain controller directly from a kickstart file.
