Second Beta of elementary OS Freya available for testing

While visually almost nothing was changed in the second Beta of elementary OS 0.3 (codename Freya), the release brings over 600 fixes, including some new applications, general performance improvements, updated components, and a couple of new features.

Among some of the prominent features of elementary OS Freya Beta 2, we can mention new Videos and Calculator applications, User Interface (UI) improvements for various apps, including Photos, Calendar, Slingshot, and System Settings, multitasking improvements, which are now more discoverable, updates to third-party applications, including Simple Scan, Geary email client, and Document Viewer), and updates to core components, including support for GTK+ 3.14.

Additionally, elementary OS Freya Beta 2 brings better support for navigating Samba shares with the Files (Nautilus) file manager, UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) support, Secure Boot support, icon changes, stylesheet improvements, firewall settings, notification settings, as well as overall stability and security enhancements.
