In this blog post, we've put together a screenshot tour of elementary OS 0.3 Freya so you can see right now how the distribution looks and what has been changed, at least visually. Check out the gallery below for details.
Freya includes the same apps that you love from Luna, such as Photos, Videos, Geary Mail, Midori Web Browser, Music, Scratch Text Editor, Files, Calendar, Calculator, Archive Manager, Camera, Document Viewer, Simple Scan, and Terminal.
As expected, many of these apps received various improvements. The desktop layout is pretty much the same, with a dock (application launcher) at the bottom edge of the screen, and a semi-transparent panel on the upper part of the screen.
The Application Menu, Calendar and System Menu applets are there, as expected, but they feature some under-the-hood improvements as well for a better elementary OS desktop experience.
We will now let you enjoy the elementary OS 0.3 Freya screenshot tour, but you'll have to download the Live CD ISO image and see for yourself what's new in the operating system.
