dikiKam 4.9.0 is now available for download

The digiKam development team has announced a few hours ago, on April 7, the immediate availability for download of the digiKam Software Collection 4.9.0 image viewer and organizer application for the KDE desktop environment.

digiKam 4.9.0 is a maintenance release that fixes several bugs discovered or reported since the previous release of the software. While this version is designed for KDE4, the team is working hard these days on the port of digiKam for KDE Frameworks 5, due for release in July 2015.
